Questions parents ask
Glentavo is an ISEE Lower Level prep platform for families applying to US private schools for grades 5–6. It turns preparation into a plan to test day: full-length practice tests, five practice sets after each one, and a weekly report for the parent. These are the questions parents ask most.
Before you buy
Who is Glentavo for?
Families whose child is in grade 4 or 5 and is applying to US private schools for grades 5–6. The ISEE Lower Level is the version of the ISEE taken by children applying to those grades. For many children, it is their first formal exam.
What does Start tell me?
How your child did on 20 questions, counted by type of question, plus how many cycles fit before test day and which package covers them. A cycle is one full-length practice test plus the five practice sets after it. Twenty questions choose a route; they are not a diagnosis and not a ranking.
Will my child see scores?
No. Your child sees only today's task and a mountain they climb as they finish tasks. Results and prices are only on your side. Glentavo does not compare children with each other.
Does Glentavo predict my child's ISEE score?
Not at launch. ISEE results are reported as a score band from 1 to 9. We do not estimate that band at launch; reports show what your child actually did. If our practice tests prove accurate against real results, we will add score ranges — always with the basis shown.
Do you promise admission?
No. Glentavo does not promise admission outcomes.
Is Glentavo affiliated with ERB?
No. ISEE is a registered trademark of the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), which is not affiliated with and does not endorse this product.
Packages and pricing
What is the difference between the three packages?
Only how many practice tests they include, and how long you can use them. Sprint: 4 practice tests, 3 months. One Season: 10 practice tests, 12 months. Summit: 20 practice tests, 12 months. The difficulty is the same in all three.
Which package should I choose?
Start answers this from your calendar. As a rule of thumb: Sprint if the test is 3–6 weeks away and your child will take it once; One Season if your child will take it once this season; Summit if your child may take it twice, or you are starting early.
Is there an upgrade from Sprint to Summit?
No. The three packages are independent and each has its own practice tests. If you need more, you buy another package at full price. Buying enough the first time is the cheapest path.
Is this a subscription?
No. One-time purchase. Not a subscription. No auto-renewal.
When does my package end?
On the date shown when you buy: 3 months from purchase for Sprint, 12 months for One Season and Summit. The date is counted from the day you buy and does not move.
What happens after it ends?
No new practice tests or practice sets open. A practice test already in progress can still be finished within 7 days. Your reports and past answers stay readable for the period set out in our Privacy Policy.
I have more than one child.
Each child needs their own package, at the same price. One account holds up to three children.
Does my child need a new package for another testing season, or next year?
Only if the current one has ended or is used up. A package works until its end date, whatever the testing season. If your child applies again the following year and the package has ended, you buy a new one. Records and real scores carry over, and your child never gets a practice test they have already taken.
Practice tests
What is a practice test?
A complete mock ISEE Lower Level: four scored sections plus a 30-minute essay, following the published sections and timing of the real test, in one sitting with two scheduled breaks. The four scored sections take 110 minutes in total; each break is 5–10 minutes. The tests are our own, modeled on the format and skills of the ISEE Lower Level. They are not real ISEE questions.
Is there a shorter version, or extra time?
Yes. You can choose a shorter version with only the four scored sections and no essay; it is clearly labelled and still counts toward the plan. If ERB has approved extended time for your child, you can set 1.5× or 2× time, and the report notes it. There is no untimed version.
What is a practice set?
About 20 questions, picked from what the last practice test showed. After each practice test your child gets five of them.
What device does my child need?
A computer, or an iPad turned sideways, for full practice tests. Practice sets also work on a phone.
Do I need to be there?
At the start of each practice test, yes: starting or pausing one needs a parent code that you set.
What if my child cannot finish in one sitting?
The test is saved and can be finished later. It counts toward the plan when finished within 24 hours of starting. If it takes longer, you can still see it, but the plan keeps using the last test that counted.
Can my child start early? What if we miss a day?
A planned practice test can be started early. A missed day does not lock anything, and changing dates keeps every answer and result.
Is the essay graded?
Your child writes the 30-minute essay in every practice test. Essays are not scored in the winter 2026–27 season. We never rewrite your child's essay.
Reports
What is in the report after each practice test?
Four parts: what your child did, where they are now, what changed since the last test, and why the next five practice sets were chosen.
What is in the weekly report?
Every Sunday by email, with an image you can save. First what got done this week, then what changed, then what is next. The image leaves out your child's name unless you choose to show the nickname.
Can I enter my child's real ISEE results?
Yes, after the test. They are kept next to your child's practice records, so over time we can check how our practice tests compare with real results.
Refunds
What is the refund policy?
Within 7 days of purchase, if no more than 1 practice test has been completed, once per child under this policy. A refund ends access to that package; reports already produced stay readable. Packages opened with a code are not covered.
Privacy
What do you collect about my child?
What the service needs: answers, time per question, essay text, and the child's profile under your account. Your child never gives an email address, and we never market to children.
How do I delete our data?
